Epub validation errors - Page 2

There's nothing to open in Sigil. It IS a Word document... being uploaded to Smashwords. Unfortunately, the meatgrinder is referencing it's own internal temporary html file in the resulting error message.

Ah, I see why it is such a problem. I would suggest saving the word document as HTML and see if you can find the problem in the resultant HTML file.

Thanks to you and others, everything is fixed except that I have this last book that passes ePub test but still have some problem.

Any help will be highly appreciated. Here's the message that I get:

" #2 Your book contains some possibly corrupt formatting. If you take a look at the EPUB, you'll notice there are slight font size differentiations. This is caused by your mix of inconsistent on-screen formatting. One option is to do a CTRL-A and change everything to Normal style, then modify the style to enforce the characteristics you want. ||| When you're finished correcting your book, go to Dashboard: 'upload new version' to upload the new version. Thanks. "

I don't have lists, numbers, tables or anything but ordinary text and I also got these messages, but in a 323-page ebook, only in 5 places. Why? How do I fix these?

Make a backup and then follow the advice. Do a CTRL-A and change everything to normal style. What happens? You will likely have to change the chapter titles back to h2 etc.
