I like Mantano pretty well myself. At least, that's what I'm using. There are a few more reading setting options than Aldiko has (which is probably the second best IMHO). I tried Moon+ and it was ok. I don't really like FBReader, I probably didn't spend enough time trying to customize it but I thought it was seriously ugly and lacked some controls I like. But maybe I'll give that a go again. |

A description of what you're looking for in an ereader app would help you avoid some of the confusion. While a lot of the apps are very similar, most of the variety exists because people have different needs (file formats, library management, configuration, etc.).

Acrobat Reader you can open PDFs and view them and ever read them but it doesn't make it gear toward a library type like ADE is. With ADE you can organize your books, and your can read them and keep them in the app and so on. I hope that clears it up for you! |

Honestly, I would have stay out of this if only your first reply to me wasn't so goddamn condescending. So lets revise ezpdf: - it reads epubs & pdf - books you have read you can find in recently read - you can organize your books - it can crop pdf - it has dropbox integration From post to post you have "updated" your criteria as to what qualifies as an Tablet eReader app, so I hope you remain consistent in your next. It also makes me think you never even used ezPDF and you really have no idea of its capabilities. @elcreative Maybe they need to update their description? You can keep an eyeroll for yourself. |

Don't make me come back there. I'll turn this car around right now and go home.

I have tried both Mantano Pro and Moon+Pro. For me, I like to use Moon+ Pro together with Calibre Companion. That is a good combination. YMMV.

Marvin (there is an iPad and iPhone version).
But I am moving away from reading on my iPad and reading on my PW instead. It is harder to get distracted by attacking Zombies on my PW.... I do use the Kindle e-reader on iPad for my cook books. I don't want to take the time to figure out how to clean up and make the TOC contents redable in Marvin. I am sure it is easy but I just don't want to take the time. |

So... I have both Mantano and Moon+ Pro on my HD+ and I still seem to use the Kindle app most of the time. Since most of what comes down from Amazon these days is azw3, I've just gotten into the habit of converting everything else to that automatically. I like the good integration of the dictionary and now that I've figured how to configure Calibre Companion to plop the books down in the right place, I doubt I'll get much experience with the others.
