Well, I checked the Sony UK press releases and there's nothing there on it yet.

And, until you stop sending those Alberta Clippers down here, we're going to make it hard for you to buy eBooks and Readers. So there!

My shipping date is also Nov. 17th.

It was a tough choice between this and the BeBook, to be honest. The BeBook has all that open format loving, and sub-directory support, but the Sony has the aluminum body and seems to have a faster page turn.

It's a gift for my wife, though, and I think she'll appreciate the light (and, if she doesn't like it, I'll buy her the BeBook and steal the Sony for me!)

People in the U.S. have started to see them at the Sony store, though not available for purchase until November 14th. Has anyone seen a display model of the PRS-700 in Canada yet?

No, I was in 2 Sony stores on Friday and they had not received them yet. The staff were aware of the new model, but had no idea when they would receive it.
I know Borders and BestBuy sell the Reader in the US - does anybody know if there is an alternative store to buy the Reader in Canada, besides the Sony store?
