Another thing I would love to see. This has probably been mentioned before but who can review 48 pages? When I'm looking at my Holds screen, I see "You are user 10 out of 21 on the waiting list." But in order to see how many copies of that book the library owns, I have to click on the book. If I am 10th in line, and the library owns 1 copy, that means I can expect the book in around 20 weeks. But if the library owns 5 copies, that means I can expect the book in around 2 weeks.* So, without the number of copies on the Hold screen, the waiting list information is not very helpful.

*Someone will probably critique my math, but I think we can all agree that if the library owns 5 copies, I'm going to get my copy much faster than if the library owns 1 copy.

Your math may or may not be faulty. Some libraries allow 14-days and some allow 21-days. Most people are set to the default longest borrowing time. So if it is 21-days and the library owns just 1 copy, it can be about 33 weeks. You have to know the borrow time for that particular library.

I have never had a glitch at BPL. BPL is not yet running the new version of the Overdrive software. They seem to be running a version or two before the new version.

Yes, I do remember. That's why I'm correcting things so people will know that BPL = Boston Public Library. They own the URL bpl.org. So they get to be BPL and Brooklyn Public Library has to find a different shortcut.

Having just taken a look at Brooklyn Public Library, you can have BklynPL.

Well I cancelled the hold on that book then placed a new hold. So it isn't the title is no longer available I'm stumped.

I admit it. I've been ignoring this thread, because I didn't see any changes in my libraries.

OMG, this is awful. The elibrary went to useless overnight, IMO, the interface is so much clunkier than it was for someone who only wants to check new acquisitions and has no interest in lists or social interaction. Once my current holds come up, I think I'm done.

Maybe the redesign is more intuitive than you give it credit: after clicking on your link the top of my screen was filled with "Books to help you cope".

Functional downgrades aside, at least Boston decided to go with a "clean" background... my local library (Fort Worth) decided to go with a background image of the state flower. It looks nice - as long as all the books you are looking at are blue.

I'm getting tired of the OverDrive app on my Galaxy Player. No matter how often I log in and tell it to remember, it never does. I have to re-enter the info every time I visit a library. Having to constantly log in to five different libraries is getting old fast. If this keeps up, I'm gonna ditch the app altogether and only borrow books from my computer.

In fairness, I do see one improvement, the ability to suspend a hold. It was infuriating when three or four books would become available all at once, and while I was in the middle of several other books already.

Me either. My holds still expire if I don't borrow within a certain time period -- 48 hrs. at one library, 72 hrs. at another and 5 days at yet another.
