I've been drinking out of a thermos while riding home from the coast, since early morning. I left early so I could beat the rush hour traffic jams in late afternoon through Kyoto city. Home now and it's nice to be able to drink Keemun tea out of my favorite mug! Be it ever so humble...

Black coffee. Got up early to have a few minutes to myself, so I'm sipping coffee in the dark and reading/browsing on my Kindle Fire.

Good morning, all. Winter's just starting, spring is a long way away, but apparently lots of folks plan early for spring curling events! I just tried to book a hotel for the Ford World Men's Curling Championship in April, and the Empress is already sold out??!! Sheesh! Ah, well, I'm sure we'll end up somewhere, but I was really looking forward to spending time in one of my favourite old hotels.

In my cup, more of this year's Anniversary Breakfast Blend. Nearly gone, now, but we'll have to see what the Holiday Breakfast Blend is like. I've got a tin on its way.

Coke Zero #something. Off to see the new James Bond this evening. It's got very good reviews, so I'm hoping to like it.

I'd like to get out soon and see the new Denzel Washington movie, "Flight. " It was filmed here in Atlanta and a friend of mine from my handspinners guild has a bit part in it. She's an actress by trade, but she managed to get some knitting into the film.

. (Apparently she is knitting at an AA meeting.)
