What is in your cup? - Page 1457

I love being back at a permenant desk. So far today I have had 3 cups of Copper Knot Hongcha, 2 cups of Frozen Summit Oolong, and am working on my first cup of Gyokuro Imperial.

Yowser! If I had that much, I'd have to pop 2 Ambiens to get any sleep at all! But glad you're settled in to the new desk.

Still on that first steep of Phoenix Mountain Oolong but the cup is nearly empty. Maybe one more steep at lunch, and then I'm done for the day.

I have ADHD, caffeine helps me calm down.

Ah, I seem to remember that now. I used to be able to consume nearly unlimited amounts of caffeine, but lately I find I can still consume lots, but when I do, especially later in the day, I end up not sleeping as well. So then I'm really tired the next day, and need more caffeine to get through, etc., etc.

Switching to Diet Coke for the rest of the afternoon. Sigh.

Dreams, I was able to get two different views of the room, including the view out the window over the harbor! I'll be home again tomorrow night, and will upload them into my computer and post for you. But... 'tween you and me? The views of the little coastal villages came out much nicer...

I got back this afternoon, just beating the rain by minutes, and after an hour in the hotel's onsen, have been curled up in the room with a big pot of Keemun tea and my reader.

Thanks Stitchawl, I'm sure the other photos will be nicer, but I have to admit that I was intrigued by the fact of so many beds in that one hotel room.

It has been a long week. The normal routine is so out of whack. Storm, friends without power crashing with us, things out of place in the house, Halloween so barking dogs, Lucas is insisting on being held more due to the chaos, and the In-Laws come tonight. I hate to admitit but I am not good with this type of disruption, I just don't respond well. But I wouldn't not take in our friends or distribute candy. I wish I could learn to be better with this kind of thing.
