It's not listed as a feature, the manual makes zero mention, and the photos show no headphone port. It's gone, and honestly, I don't miss it. |

That's good news that the periodical delivery works on the T2. Too bad there's no update for the T1.

Yeah, it's kinda frustrating actually, since the reader store originally said there would be an update to the T1 to support delivery.

Regarding Evernote export, how well does that work?
Is it possible to trigger with Wifi off, so the actual upload happens later? How well is note management on Evernote, do all clippings just get added to the inbox or can collections be defined? And is there a limit on how many clippings can be sent to Evernote. I'd really like to go that route since I find the non-availability of personal documents in Kindle for Mac restrictive but I wonder if this is actually better than converting my Kindle notes with clippingsconverter and forwarding to evernote...? |

Last I used one, both the Kobo and Nook STR only enabled the social stuff for purchased books. |

Which brings up a question. When highlighting a passage on the T-1 or T-2, can the entire passage be exported to a PC? I know that on my old PRS-600, passages of any length are truncated.

I'm amazed there's no unboxing or review on youtube yet.

That's typical SONY behaviour! They are extremly frightened that someone will copy a book that way ![]() Sometimes I have the feeling this kind of guys live in a parallel universe. If you really want to copy a book, you never want to do it that way. Even if there would be no limmit, you normally could fetch a maximum of ONE page. Nobody wants to copy a whole book that way when there are a couple of 5-second methods available, to be found quickly after a short research with google. I'll never understand this shortsighted thinking. SONY shooted itself in it's knees with a comparable behaviour with its Minidisc Players. For example: You where allowed to record over microphone or line-in whatever you want but SONY disallowed the possibility to transfer it to you PC ![]() Or: You where allowed to do 3(!) transfers from CD to Minidisc (brute DRM; very often it did not work) but the quality was just 50% of a 'normal' Minidisc. But used 100% of the storage place on the disc. That led to a quality of a middle to low level MP3. And in the end MP3 defeated of course MD. ![]() A |

Does anyone feel that given the specs are not that really increased on the T2 compared to the T1, and with the lack of audio support now, that Sony charging the same for the T2 is a bit rich?? |
