Not yet. It's supported on: PC, Mac, Android, iOS, Fire, Sonos. Amazon promises more device support later this year. I'd like to see it on more internet radios, like Grace and Logitech.

What's the big attraction with cloud storage for your music?

I have a dinky android phone with little storage so for me it's the ability to listen to my music when I travel out. Once it's on Roku I can listen to it that way on my TV. Plus it's a great way to keep a backup of your music in case of hard drive crashing. I lost mine in June but I was able to save my most of the my files. It also saves me hard disk space. I don't need to keep my music on my hard drives and use it for more important things like ebooks.

I'd really like a desktop mini app though to use with it. I hate leaving browsers open.

I'm gonna delete my uploaded music, but I figure I'll still use Android app to listen to my Amazon purchases.

I'll still use the Player on my SGP4 and iPt4. It's great for the classical stuff I get from Amazon with the MP3 credits they keep giving away. Right now, I'm streaming Grieg on my iPod.

I think I've gotten $6 in MP3 credits in the last three months? Can't beat that. Instead of purchasing tunes, I'm saving links for the next round of credits that come my way.

I mostly use the credits for classical albums - the 99 and 100 song types. Anywhere from 6 to 16 hours worth of music each. Fantastic bang for the buck.

Hadn't thought of it for a phone. For anything else I use a flash drive, same for back-up (plus an external HDD or two!). Like ebooks, I am happy to use online storage as an complementary back-up, wouldn't like to rely on it though.

Hard drives crash as I have gone through too many in past couple of years. I keep two sources well now three ways of back ups. External, Discs and now Cloud. I think the most reliable is Discs in all the years I've used them I had maybe 3 DVDs get corrupted data on them.

Yes my phone has a measly 256MB of app space and only 180MB of that is available for my apps. Seeing Good Play takes up 10MB after last update. Amazon App Store takes way more but I downgraded to a older version which is 8MB. These apps are getting huge! I hate updating. Android is a messy O/S sooner or later a factory reset is all you can do to get space back.

My free promo, 20GB data + unlimited songs, has expired. It's now 5GB and 250 songs.

Since I failed to do it during the promo, it would now cost me an extra $25 to upgrade to Cloud Player Premium. Instead of getting it for free with any 50GB and higher data plan, it'll now cost extra.

Really, I have no need for cloud services. I've never used any of the data available to me and don't ever see a need to do so. As to music, I take advantage of it occasionally; but only because it's there by default. If it were to disappear tomorrow, I wouldn't miss it.

I found out that streaming the music can be killer on your Data Plan. It seems the Android app downloads the next and previous song and the song you are currently listening to. I had the app on shuffle and it downloaded 130MB after listening to maybe 4 songs. I no longer stream but download the songs instead to my phone. I upgraded my SD Card because of this.

I have a good data plan but there is some question if I will get to keep it once I upgrade my phone later this year.

Another interesting tidbit I discovered while testing all of this is the Amazon App shop re-downloads itself each time it checks for an update and one is available.

I am learning Amazon apps are bandwidth hogs.

This is one of several reasons why I don't have a data plan.
