I looked at my libraries web site this morning and the overdrive stuff is live. Within about 5 minutes I had John Grisham's Calico Joe on my kindle.

Everything seemed dead easy.

The only problem is now I feel this enormous pressure to read the book, 14 days and counting.....

LOL I think you're going to love it.

I have access to three libraries and support them all by using the service. It tells them that people out there are using it and it's worthwhile having. The more people use it the more books they'll get. I also found that one of my libraries that had started with a 14 day lending period increased it to 21 so you may find yours will too.

Enjoy & Happy Reading!

Congrats

Does your library give you the option to change the loan period? The libraries I belong to allow you to choose between 7, 14, or 21 days. The default is set at 21 days.

...I'm totally against that. If my libraries started doing that, I'd stop using them.

Just a friendly reminder... you can return an ebook early. I don't have a Kindle, but I think it is done on the PC under "Manage My Kindle".

Enjoy the library!
