Sipping my iced coffee and sunbathing on my balcony.

Today is a beautiful day to bask in sunshine (86 °F and a light breeze)

I've been having 'just one' every so often for the past 7 years or so. I go through periods of a few months where I don't have one at all. I actually found that having a cigarette once in a while helped to keep me from going back to full on smoking - the thought "I will never have a cigarette again" just felt so heavy and depressing that I began to try allow myself a cigarette once in a while as a sort of treat that I don't enjoy every day - like birthday cake. It's worked for me, but I do know that it doesn't work for many, if not most, ex-smokers.

Don't do it!

Ok, do it, life is too short to not allow yourself a treat once in a while!

I gained almost 20 pounds in 6 weeks when I quit smoking! It was like my appetite just blossomed. Thankfully, I lost most of the weight, and I was pretty thin when I quit smoking.

Lots and lots of books on my Sony 650 - currently reading the last Repairman Jack novel, "Nightworld".

WE have lots of ad campaigns against smoking, and it is almost illegal in this state. Somewhere in OZ there is a attempt to ban smoking on private balconies. The pollies don't seem to care about stopping alcohol though. I guess that is because booze is free in parliament. (a national right)

I ran to chocolate when I wanted a drink the other night! No Worky I think I am addicted to booze because a few days without and I am grumpy and miserable. Feeling a little better today though. Funny I didn't seem to need booze so much when I was smoking.
