Do note that adding a boatload of books to a Kindle at one time is not a great idea. Each book has to index when it is loaded. It's better to add them in small batches.

ok, thanks to tilia , i have the collection plugin up and running. could someone now please show me to an idiot proof how to guide to getting this set up because it's pissin me off quick. i mean simple, step by step thing that a 5 yr old could follow here, because this is getting annoying. REALLY annoying! i am tech oriented, hell I've been messin with pc's and the like for almost 2 decades, but calibre and further the kindle are seriously ticking me off. WHY does it HAVE to be so dang involved & convoluted? didn't it occur to the kindle designers that folks might like to be able to add their own folders/collections in bulk? *rolls eyes* trying to get my kindle to work right feels like it's turning me into a bratty whiny 15 yr old. i hate that.

so....idiot proof baby step guide please? i can beg & grovel on request here...
