2. Some of the Bond books acquired different titles when published in the USA. Which Bond book was published in the US as You Asked For It?

Yes to both of you - Fleming had a plantation on Jamaica - Goldeneye. His neighbor there was Noel Coward.

Hokey..... A while back I asked which were the youngest mountains in the world. Today, I'd like to hear you tell me the name of the Oldest Mountain Range in the world.

While there is a wee bit of contention trying to squeeze the Smokies in there, recent evidence is pretty much conclusive that they aren't. So.....

What is the name of the range, and where is it located?

Hmm... old implies low and worn down, and in a currently stable bit of continent. How about the Urals?

[EDIT: Forgot to say where they were. The Urals are a north/south mountain range in Russia]

Given the old adage about Africa being the cradle of life, I suggest it is in Africa, but which country and which range? I'll try the Drakensburg Mountains.

... and the cradle for mountain ranges too, it would seem! Yes, it is on the African continent, spanning several countries. And as a native son of the area, you are well aware of the Barberton Greenstone Belt that extends into South Africa!

So although you named a specific mountain, I do believe it is part of that Greenstone belt, so I think you should give us the very next question!
