Wait, you have the Touch Settings addon on your 600? That's not right, it's only for x50 models so far. And there's an exclude in the build.xml, so it shouldn't be included in a custom build for 600.

Good question, I don't think so, but it's the one allowing to select single tap double tap and so on. That's something which is around for some time. By talking of touch settings, I was talking about the section in translation file.
I can add that I build trunk, no personal tweaks for now apart from lang.

Let's be simple, the chains are: OPTION_NODICT, CLOSE_POPUP..., OPTION_NOGESTURE, PAGE_TURN... and ZOOMLOCK_PANNING

I think I can clear up the mystery. These touch settings are still in ViewerSettings_600.js. This file gets its strings from "ViewerSettings_x50", but since many (perhaps all?) strings have all been moved to "TouchSettings_x50", they are no longer available.

We will need to take a look and see if all strings required for ViewerSettings_600.js have been moved (in which case it will be easy to change the L call). If not, it might be more complicated...

Thanks Ben, what you describe is indeed the case. All of the strings have been moved to TouchSettings_x50, so changing the L call would be a partial fix for now. Some strings have been removed completely though, since their options have been made obsolete by TS.

The real solution is moving "port TS to 600" a bit higher up on my todo list

Well, that turned out to be far less work than I'd imagined. TouchSettings now ported to 600 in revision e49428e954.

Please let me know if everything works, as I don't have a 600 to test with.

Well, there is outstanding critical bug in 2.0.x, User Guide is quite far from being finished, so I guess some time in January.

No more translation problems at least...Will keep in touch if I have a problem with some of the functions I use

Uhm, if anyone feels like contributing to user guide, just ping me for rights. (also if you want to have pictures in it)

Plan is ironing out English version first, then translating it to German, Spanish, Russian (most active user base), possibly French.

At least, you are not lacking in ambition.

Send a message when you are ready for translation, I will try to take care of French, even if it is not very quick. I would propose to help writing the wiki, but I am not using enough options.

EDIT: After looking again at the guide, I may be of help so if you could gve me the rights I would try to start during holidays.

Hey guys. I'm brand new here, and I don't exactly know where to post, so I thought I'd post here. Apologies in advanced if I am breaking rules!

I installed PRS+ (2.0.17rc3) on my PRS-600 today. I then deleted the folder off of the reader, like mentioned in the instructions. I just tried to read a .txt in Russian, and it won't work. I read it supports cryllic and Russian, but I can't get a simple Russian .txt to display properly. Shows weird characters. Anything I'm missing? My fathers PRS-900 with Russification (also done today) reads the same file fine.
