Yes. It's in category II, which means it has legitimate medical uses, and so there is still a (small) legal trade in cocaine.

While Heroin is in category I, and trade is completely banned.

I didn't actually mean it to be a 'trick' question when I started out to pose it, but when I double-checked my knowledge (I thought it was banned back in 1914) I found I was wrong!

This logic puzzle was published in Martin Gardner's column in the Scientific American.

You are in a room with no metal objects except for two iron rods. Only one of them is a magnet.
How can you identify which one is a magnet?

Yes, that will work. Over to you!

The other way is to hold one and bring its end towards the centre of the other. If the one you're holding is the magnet, it will attract the iron rod. However, if you're holding the iron rod, the magnet will not be attracted to it, as in the middle of the magnet there's no net magnetic field.

Aha! yes the magnetic field is only at the ends.

Your last good ping-pong ball fell down into a narrow metal pipe imbedded in concrete one foot deep.
How can you get it out undamaged, if all the tools you have are your tennis paddle, your shoe-laces, and your plastic water bottle, which does not fit into the pipe?

yup! I didn't think there was any water in the bottle, but that would work.

I don't know how you would do it if it was actually a pipe (no bottom) then the water would drain away.
