Teavana, TG, pretty much all the big chains sell the infuser baskets or the french press style maker.

No problem. I am living vicariously through others on the tea journey.
If you let us know what type of bagged tea that you like we can probably help you find some good teas to try. |

Tea Gschwendner is one of my favorite stores. I love their tea. http://www.gongfu-tea.com/sunshop/in...l=cat_list&c=1 Gong Fu is a new discovery. I love their Oolongs. http://www.teavana.com/ Teavana is an American based chain. They have good flavored teas. I don't purchase a ton from them because I prefer tea that tastes like tea. |

The best strainer I have ever used. I use it every day
![]() ProfCrash's Tea Gschwendner is one of my favorite stores or New Mexico Tea Company where I have ordered mine (it was shipping overseas). I drink tea from double walled glass. I have noticed a big difference between drinking from this glass and a cup. Bodum like that or 6 ![]() ![]() However, if I could buy it in the UK I would opt for Better, more stable shape Last edited by astra; 11-10-2011 at 02:55 PM. |

And I get much of my tea from Peets. While I originally bought from them because they've been my preferred coffee provider for 20 years, I now buy most of my tea from them. They've got quite reliable teas, and are reasonably priced.
In my glass - organic apple juice (cider). |

New tea tonight. Yunnan Tea (F&M) Yummy yummy! They put it nicely Quote:
![]() Opsimath was right. The East India Company and Fortnum and Mason truly rock! Their teas are superb quality. So far, there was only one tea I didn't like, Piccadilly Blend Tea (F&M) - Ceylon Blend, but I guess it was just me. Their other Ceylon Blend Afternoon Blend Tea has a fantastic flavour and looks very differently, i.e., looks like a real tea. I love it. At the moment it is my favourite post dinner tea. I have tried only their black and China Black teas and I am planning to investigate further when I finish my tea stash. |

I use this simple inexpensive technique: I put the leafs in a wide porcelain cup (that is easy to rinse/wash clean) I put in the hot water at the right temperature and admire the opening of the leaves (oolong in this case) I wait for the proper amount of time I strain it in a double wall glass. And I might re-use the leafs, depending on the tea. I do this both at home and in the office. |

![]() You know that gypsy with the gold-capped tooth She's got a pad down on Thirty-Fourth and Vine Sellin' little bottles of Love Potion Number Nine I told her that I was a flop with chics I've been this way since 1956 She looked at my palm and she made a magic sign She said "What you need is Love Potion Number Nine" She bent down and turned around and gave me a wink She said "I'm gonna make it up right here in the sink" It smelled like turpentine, it looked like Indian ink I held my nose, I closed my eyes, I took a drink I didn't know if it was day or night I started kissin' everything in sight But when I kissed a cop down on Thirty-Fourth and Vine He broke my little bottle of Love Potion Number Nine ![]() ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rXhXLsNJL8 ) Good morning all! Cold and rainy weather this morning. Hot tea is a great cure. This morning it will be double strength Keemun, but I'm already looking forward to this afternoon's Lapsang Souchong! Quote:
Something that doesn't often get said is that although Hitler did kill 6 million Jews, he killed 11 million people... Gypsies, Armenians, gay people, mentally and physically handicapped people... he had quite a list. Was there ever a doubt? ![]() ![]() ![]() Quote:
In fact, I am! That's pretty much ALL of my choices, with just an extra smoky Lapsang Souchong and China Black from McNulteys, and the unbranded Keemun from the little Chinese import shop. I'll bet your mother dresses you funny. ![]() Yeah... wot she said! ![]() Another cup of tea, a quick shower, then it's off to see the Wizard! Stitchawl |
