It looks like hell, but she loves stalking bugs through the tall lemongrass, sleeping in the sun in crotch of a tree limb that I cut for her. It's worth the ugliness to see her so content!

My sympathy. I would be in mourning too.

If your cats are used to being inside, more better they stay in and safe.

What a great idea! I tried that with Mr M when he was small, but he was so bad at being kept in and destroyed all my attempts to enclose the courtyard, he now goes outside. But he has to be in at night. I was the best compromise we could come to.

I still freak out if cars drive stoopidly around our neighbourhood

Wait — I can explain
On the day I went away
Goodbye
Was all I had to say
Now I
Want to come again and stay
Oh my
Smile and that will mean I may

I've seen blue skies
Through the tears in my eyes
And I realise I'm going home
I'm going home

Everywhere it's been the same
Feeling
Like I'm outside in the rain
Wheeling
Free to try and find a game
Dealing
Cards for sorrow cards for pain

I've seen blue skies
through the tears in my eyes
And I realise — I'm going home
I'm going home
I'm going home."

Just one week to go until my vacation. Which means it's list-time. Just ordered a cable lock for my notebook and on Wednesday I'm going to get the rest. Last night I found out that I don't have to pay for wifi there because our internet provider is part of the company that has set up the wifi in that holiday park.

I'm really looking forward to going, relaxing for a couple of days just before the crazy busy period in our store begins.

Sheer brilliance. We don't have a veranda, and we are heading for winter now, but maybe I'll give some thought to a netted enclosure for next spring .

"catios" are quite the thing here lately

I actually took the day off today (this is becoming more and more unusual for me). I decided to tackle my bedroom which really has become quite a pit. in addition to the satisfaction of cleaning up and getting organized, I FOUND MY PASSPORT!!!! which had been missing for about 6 months and I was really starting to panic about! woo-hoo!

Without the framework of a veranda to help enclose the sides, one of those large backyard golf practice frames would work well, or you could make one out of PVC pipe for just a few bucks. Another easy way is the frame from a cheap family tent that is missing it's cloth. I used cheap nylon garden netting with a 1" mesh. I could buy packages of 10m X 10m for about $5.

When making it, I found the secret to keeping Felicity inside was to use a double layer of netting spaced about 2" apart, and not pulling anything tight. Because it's loose, when she pushes on it trying to get through, it gives with her and she gets nowhere. After trying all the obvious escape routes she finally gave up trying to get out.

Good luck. I've been trying to figure out how to delete a contact from my iPad version of hotmail.

EDIT: Nevermind. I just figured out the way to edit contacts in Hotmail is to exit the mail app and edit the contacts in "Contacts." See if that works for you.

Yes, see my edit. I'm so used to editing my Hotmail contacts on my computer directly in Hotmail itself that something like that never occurred to me.

Thanks!

Heh, you posted this at the same time I did.

But anyway no, yahoo messenger has its own separate contact list.
