Same here, I didn't get the 505 for the eInk screen for its own sake, but for the extended battery life it allowed. Now I can get sufficient battery life with LCD devices, I don't need it any more.

I voted e-ink. With an e-ink reader I get an eye-caressing experience while reading, and I can still get the LCD experience if I use my Kindle while shining a flashlight in my face.

First post here, I voted E ink, as I have a Kindle and find the screen brilliant to read in all situations even in full sunlight not a problem, I certainly can't say that about my iPad.

			Hi,

I cannot abide reading on LCD or amoled screens. Tablets of the iPad kind are great for glossy magazines and web browsing etc. But when I want to read, I don't want a backlit screen hurting my ageing peepers. E-ink on the newer Pearl screens is just about as good an experience as reading your average paperback to me. (If I need extra light I do what I do when readin a pbook, I switch on the lamp, simple) I really hope the trend to web-browsing mult-functional e-ink devices leads to cheaper good quality book reading only devices. I owned a Sony PRS600 which I've now passed on to my wife in favour of the Kindle. The Kindle's great, but there's always that temptation to check my g-mail account or browse Amazon, if the book I'm reading ain't that great. I couldn't justify the cost of the Sony PRS650, but to me that's the ideal device. i.e: No WiFi.
