Kartu, Could you maybe take a look at Fskin.kbookViewStyleThumbnail.drawRecord in the Book Management addon? I'm trying to prevent further menu/list hangups in particular situations, but the original function draws things that I can't seem to test (e.g. fieldIcon, backIssueButton). And so I can't properly check whether they clash with the reading progress comment - although they probably don't, because the space below the thumbnail comment is usually reserved for expiration data.

Hi,
Just installed build from current repository with kbookIcon.pgn's reduced to 16 colors (4-bit)
No problem with ZoomLockPan Submenu, no prob with BookManagement.
May be we are testing asset-space against max?

Well done, Mark! Hopefully reducing the color depth solves the problem permanently. I wonder why it didn't occur sooner, though. Did the other icons simply only use a few of the colours/greyscales available in the previous png?

Btw, I will test as soon as I can, which should be later tonight.

Unfortunately this doesn't really work. If the translation is missing you don't get the English texts but placeholders. These are often very long therefore truncated. So you mus guess what an option is for.
Id would be nice if the fallback to English would work, but it doesn't.

Well, I've done some testing, and the results are... weird. With the new png the custom view menu does work correctly, but only after I changed the view from thumbnail to list, which shouldn't be possible at all. In other words, when pressing the options button, you now seem to get the options for a book list.
/edit, correction: it actually thinks it's a list of music files, since it can sort by title or artist

Just as weird is, when pressing options in either the Book Viewer menu or the Book Management menu, you get the option of making a new collection! And this is on a just completely wiped and reset 650 (including prs+ options reset). Strange things are happening...

Guys I didn't read into all details, but have in mind that some icon values trigger thumbnail view.

That figures. The 'books' icon triggers a collection view, the custom contrast/brightness icons trigger thumbnail view, and the 'back' icon for restore button option triggers music index options. Why can't an icon just be an icon

There is also a problem on the Aplications screen. I can't see the icons for dictionary, notes and audio. But I can tap on the white space to open these catagories.

Can you try with the latest revision? They do show up here, but maybe that's because I wiped my reader.

My apologize for not having answered (on of the few days I've been far from the computer almost all the day ) Anyway, I've already installed the last version and it works like a charm. BTW, I've checked the custom settings and they work for me now (they didn't appear before).
