I must be the exeption. I had many trips, with a number of individuals, from colleagues, to wifes, through all the possible shades and ways of relation. Even with my daughter when she was 16, twice, once to Paris and was across SW France by car. I must say we all had a great time, always. I tend to avoid adventures, in general, but had a number of high mountain trekking, things of a week or two, and sailing boat cruises also. Camping in nature, fishing in Quebec, motoring across Europe. Never went on tours or cruises.
I am very easy going, I do not make plans and let things come my way, what they may. If someone has a particular desire or whim, that's fine with me. I like experiencing new things, even a rendition of a Greek tragedy in Pompeii. That happened with my cousin. |

I tend to fall into that model of travel. I like going to a river house for 4-5 days but I get bored. I really like traveling over seas and seeing new things. I can travel with just about everyone but I do know that I need a solo day on most trips because of who I am. (shrugs) My rings are on 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The only time they come off is when I play softball and put on hand cream. |

The problem with me extrovert is that I tend to voice too much what I feel, and that has caused a measure of strain in several instances. So that an issue that could be just hinted at, and then surface back on it's own, after decanting for a while, explodes with all it's unmeditated consequences. An introvert sentimental partner might prefer a more indirect approach, softer and more subtle.

My Hubby had the option of not wearing his ring, he broke a joint on his ring finger and it is massive. We were limited in the type of ring we could get him and we had to get one with a special clasp. He wears his ring except when he is playing sports.
We had an agreement that I would put the ring on his finger at the wedding but would not try and get it all the way on, that takes work. I put it on, we finished whatever needed to be finished and then when we turned back to the officiant (no religious) he worked it all the way on. |

Once, a climbing nail got caught in my ring. It is by my never ending good luck that nothing happened except a bruise and a sore finger.
I do not wear wedding rings since that episode. I also do not climb anymore, but went on for a while. At a certain point my actual and me swore eternal love to each other and got 2 of those Tuareg chevaliers. I lost mine in the driveway. A moment I had it, and the moment after it was not on my sweaty finger anymore. it reappered months later behind a couch in the living room. No rings. No chains, no bracelets, no jewels. No tattoos. Just me. I have similar problems with keys. |

Pot two of Lapsang Souchong.
The pickles I made using the tea were awful. I don't know if it was because the pickles were sliced to thin or if I screwed up the recipe but they were bad. I am going to try again next year, cut the pickles differently, and use a different type of cucumber. Thinking about a green tea or Oolong for my third tea of the day. |

Almost
![]() Wedding Ring is the only exception. Although, I am not sure I can call it a wedding ring. After we have met the first time (I lived in Israel, she in the UK), I told her that I want something of her to be always with me. Like always. A lock of hair that I received one year ago didn't count. I asked her for rings and she agreed ![]() A few times my wife has expressed a wish to get a new couple of rings. I said I didn't mind but under no circumstances I was going to remove this particular ring. Anyway, a cup of cooked Pu-Erh. |

Wearing the wedding ring always, since 1993. We are looking at new ones now, the ring is still perfect for me but now too small for my husband, but as astra, I will keep wearing mine. I have nothing against a new one, with stones

![]() And with ties so strong that two hearts are bound Put it on the one you've found, found, found For you know that this is really love Find a wheel and it goes round, round, round As it skims along with a happy sound As it goes along the ground, ground, ground Till it leads you to the one you love Then your love, you'll hold her round, round, round In your heart's a song with a brand new song And your head goes spinning round, round, round 'cause you've found what you've been dreamin' of ![]() ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lz_B8...eature=related ) Good morning everyone!
