But then that person would eventually go out and get their own chicken dinner. Therefore, he/she wouldn't be chickenless anymore. At most, it would just delay the inevitable.

Now, I think I'll have some BBQ-flavored chicken crackers. They may not be chicken, but they taste like BBQed chicken. A yummy snack indeed, and readily available when real chicken is not practical.

I've never had Popeyes. There is one like a mile and a half from where I live. I should probably check it out one of these days.

There's none around here now, but they were around in St. Louis when I lived there. Good for an artery-clogging festival every now and then. All this talk about chicken made me crave some.

Better, those surviving chicken eaters will be able to eat even more chicken more often. So, instead of one chicken meal a day, these stronger chicken eaters will be able to eat four or five chicken meals a day.

I see a future where there will be a KFC on each street corner so that chicken eaters don't have to travel very far for a meal. Rapidly prepared chicken meals will be the order of the day. It will be beautiful!

But the betrayal might simply make them angry

Hmmmm.....An election year is coming up. Politicians will support anything to get votes. Now is the time to propose a Constitutional Amendment: Chicken Prohibition!
