I am. I don't know him, never talked to him, but I can 'sense' his presence whenever he's in 100m radius :| Many times I jerk my head up and oops, he's right there!

Is it possible that you run into people more frequently when you pay special attention to them?

Personally, I believe it is!

The summer of my 19th year I was the Riding Master at a girl's camp deep in the New Hampshire mountains, beside a crystal clear lake. That summer was magical! Best time of my life! A year later I was in the middle of a rice paddy with people shooting at me, having the worst summer of my life...

Frankly, I would have been happy to remain 19.

So today we held a garage sale. I spent all morning running around putting up flyers. One of our neighbors sees the fliers cand decides to hold their own garage sale. Many of the people who came ended up going there and completely ignoring us!

You're sure you had the address on the flyer correct?

Yup. And I even put our dumpster out with an arrow pointing to our house.

Unfortunately with the way this area was built it is hard to see our house from the main road. There's on the other hand is right at the corner.

I think that sort of thing is pretty common. I remember when I used to have garage sales, buying advertising 'kit's' with about a dozen large arrows, signs with space for addressing, and even sticky markers to put right on the road itself so cars would head for the right place. We would put an advertisement into the local newspapers announcing the sale too. No matter what, always a few people along the streets would hold their own, to benefit from out adverts.

That use to happen around here to a few neighbors. We started getting together and having combined garage sales in one yard. That way we split the fee for the license and the ad and all of us benefited from the crowds stopping to check us out.

@ Stitchawl sounds like you and your wife had a beautiful day ride.

License?!?

You are required to get some sort of permit to have garage sales? Wow! In the US, it's such a common weekend activity! Unfortunately, here in Japan, it never is done. I miss strolling through people's junk, finding things I just couldn't live without!

It really was! We'll retrace that route in the fall when the leaves are turning. Should be just as beautiful then, just in a different seasonal way. Little traffic on those roads, beautiful mountain vistas, even some waterfalls along the way. There is a special park area called "48 Waterfalls" with a walking trail along the river passing a series of falls. We didn't stop there this time, but will when the weather is cooler!

Undoubtedly! I believe in telepathy since being with my wife - the number of times we think about the exact same thing at the same time cannot be coincidence.

We are conditioned from childhood that there is no such thing as these extra mental tools. Science can't prove them so obviously they must not be real. We give them 'toy names' such as 'women's intuition,' 'lucky guess,' 'just a hunch,' etc., because it's more comfortable to think that way rather than accept that there are other levels of communication...

Levels that we can learn to use... Just ask any "Silva" graduate. We don't luck into them. We make use of them!

I've taken a lot of classes in my lifetime. I hold quite a few different academic degrees, as well as diplomas and certificates of study in many areas. NONE HAVE SERVED ME HALF AS WELL AS THE SILVA METHOD OF MENTAL TRAINING. NONE!

It looks hooky. It looks like a scam. But I've been using the things I learned in the Silva method to improve my life since I first took the basic class 40 years ago. I use them every day still. I use them every time I get on my motorcycle, and every time I have a meeting with someone, and every time I go to the store. And my life just keeps getting better and better.

And one of the things we learned was how to use our minds for better communication. Not "Extra" sensory perception. We call it "Effective" sensory projection. We call it that because it works. They can't verify it in the laboratories, but we certainly use it and know for certain that it works when we need it to. Telephones are great, but isn't it better to have someone call YOU long distance than you having to call them? "Gee, I was just thinking about you, and you called! Isn't that a co-incidence!" Well, we don't believe in coincidence!
