I was reading this to Chris and giggling, and I got to this part....not ONLY did I get the frosty Siamese Death Glare from Sinatra, Chris says, frowning, "That's just not NICE!!" Can you tell who rules this house??

the troubles begin when you end up on a machine having one of those f* "restore partition"s hooked up to a bios based trigger, since they need a nonstandard MBR (which one blasts installing linux)

With the luck I've had in the last couple of months with computers I'm not going to risk dual boot just yet. I did ask my father if I can have the old PC from the store when my old computer goes to the store so I can put Linux on it to experiment. He agreed and also wants to see if Linux is something that might work for our store.

I've been curious as to why, when cats are so fastidious about using their litter box, why they give no thoughts about where they hurl? We've had to 'move' Felicity several times when seeing her 'adopt the position' in a difficult to clean location. We've had her to the vets twice now for her stomach, and the Vet does give some medication stop the activity. But a few weeks later it starts up again. And never with actual hairballs. (She gets brushed twice a day.) Only clear liquid and a strand or two of grass. Her eating habits are normal, she appears healthy, active, and in good condition. But there is something that is making her want to clear her digestive tract... it's quite puzzling...

Cheer up Stitchawl and Orlok, you could have a 70# dog that is 15 1/2 yrs old and starting to lose her continence. Very sad and very frustrating.

Yes, fortunately it isn't an everyday occurrence. That's what makes it even more puzzling.

Yes sorry about your dog, I lost mine a bit over two years ago to cancer, he was a trooper til then end though.

I put some ant powder down recently, as they always become a problem in the summer, and have caught the cats at the back door a few times recently watching intently as the little buggers scurry around. Phew! Right, next pack of catfood will be of the adult variety. We've been looking forward to that, actually, as you can get it in gravy - all the kitten food here is in jelly.
