Tim stopped in the mid-1990's. We had pneumonia together, really bad. I could not care for him, nor could he care for me. My mom would leave food on the doorstep, ring the bell, and wait in the car for one of us to appear at the door to get the food.

He could not breathe at all. And his dad had been recently diagnosed with emphysema, so he had an idea about what was ahead. He got a box of nicotine patches, and that was the end of smoking. He fell back into smoking by joining in on cigars with the guys on a deep sea fishing trip. So he got another box of patches, and that was the end of that.

I am also athsmatic, but found I wheezed less when I was smoking. I think this is due to all the cillia going to sleep in your lungs so you don't react so much. Even so, If you want to start smoking, you should have spent some time with Aunty Marie before she died. Hopefully that would have put you off.

I was affraid I could get that react from the woman I mentioned so... I just walked by, hold my breath.

I don't ever understand why people can put up with that terrible odor of cigarette.

Typing with one hand because my other one is otherwise occupied. As a cat pillow. Pooh, I bet even Stella isn't that spoiled....
Sinatra (the Siamese) is laying on my desk, flat out, using my hand as a pillow. I don't even know...

I just got done brushing my little shedding darlings! And snuck in a walk - humidity levels dropped to bearable (pun intended) levels after 8:00 pm.

Just got back from grocery shopping - 102 F on the deck & humidity to match. Sigh. Never did see any spring weather here. Straight into summer!

Just said goodbye to my sister who's going to Mallorca for two weeks very early tomorrow morning.

Just discovered that a writer I read a good book by years ago (Joseph Nassise Riverwatch) has a lot of work available for Kindle and 3 are available on Smashwords. I've been trying to find other books by him but I could only get them in German.

It's raining now so I'm going to bed and curl up with a The Cat Who book, I think cozies are especially good reading when it rains.
