Hahaha. That's exactly what Minx did last week to my 9 years old's laptop, only the screen went completely upside-down. Took me quite a while to work out how to fix that one (you try using a mouse and working out what commands to use with the screen 180 degrees out of wack...)

If you turn the laptop upside down, then the touchpad / mouse will be in the correct orientation.

I know - while I was trying to figure out how to correctly "swipe" the arrows I manged to convert it to 180 degrees ... It was easier to figure out then how to move the arrow than with the 90 degree pivot!

Too true. I was also under pressure as I was falling behind on my MR posts while I was helping my daughter. And you just don't need that kind of pressure...

I have a cat-like ability to completely ignore everyone around me. It makes crisis-management much more, well, manageable. Also tends to p!$$ people off, but when I get the problem fixed, they really shouldn't complain.

yes. our previous president usually made the next day a holiday if a holiday fell on a weekend. independence day was a sunday, so today should have been declared a holiday, but the pres. reasoned that since we already have the 20th as a holiday, it'd be too many o_O;

i wouldn't mind taking another holiday out of the equation, but independence day is rather significant.

Drat! After deciding that I couldn't find a new set of kitty pyjamas this season, I ordered a silk set from Vietnam. And then today in the clothing shop, there they were.... A dark purple, with black cats on!. Curse you Mitch Dowd. I pulled down my size and started to make my way towards the paying gates when, I had a guilt attack. Is it reasonable to buy two sets of pyjamas in the same year? Then I noticed that these new ones don't have the nice things last year's had. There was not satin piping around the cuffs, pocket and neck etc.

Sadly I hung them back up and decided I would see if I could get them later when they get marked down. I would feel too guilty buying two sets straight away. At least if they were marked down I could feel like a bargain was had. end of rant!

Yes, but that is a lot harder with a desktop. Someone at work managed to do that a month or so ago and it took me forever to figure everything out to get it back to normal.

But you're so lucky! I can't get my kitty wear pyjamas! She been reading Sue Grafton lately and the only thing she'll wear is a simple do-everything black dress...
