Can you describe exactly how "It's not working"? Are you seeing a message? What's happening?

Also, have you tried with an empty SD card/USB memory stick? is it at least 4 Gb? Can you copy other files to the destination and be able to open them from there?

I tested this twice now. USB0 and USB1. The stick is 16 Gb, not empty, but works fine all the time with copy and move files.
The local update-screen appears with the long bar, that normally shows moving stripes. No now though. It just stays blank. The light on the stick keeps blinking, so there must be some reading/writing going on. A previous backup of the library was more than 2Gb.
BTW, my library is on a SD-card.

It worked for me. I guess I live in a special place also!

My library is also on the SD card.

I did get error messages at first stating that I didn't have enough room on my thumb drive.

After I posted this the keyboard acted very strange. The numeric keyboard didn't give me numbers anymore, but signs like "@#$%&".
I restarted the eDGe and tried the local update again. And it worked!
2 times before it took more than 35 minutes each without result. Now it took 25 minutes and I have an update again.

I have PMed Zem, but have not heard back about any developments with eInk functionality (the omnipresent annotation and zoom requests) nor with responses to our Ermine concerns/problems. Has anyone else gotten a report about any of this or help with any problems? As I recall, Tech Support was supposed to be monitoring this forum to offer help with the update.

I had PM'd Zem last Thursday or Friday requesting an Ermine status update and have not received a reply. I noticed over this week that none of the enTourage staffers seem to be logging in (or long enough for me to notice). They may well be lurking, though.

Dontpanic is, right now.

After installing Ermine I can no longer connect to my Virgin Mobile MiFi 2200. EE recognizes the network SSID but won't connect to it. Worked fine before the upgrade.

Try deleting the connection and creating it fresh. Double check the security settings on the connection when recreating it.

Just wanted to say I installed Diopen last night and I now have handwriting recognition on my ermine enabled PE!
Very nice, English, bbert taking notes than swype or typing for me.
Only works on the Androis LCD side, but works with every app the keyboard used to work on.

Great find!

I found and installed 1.1.1 (dated July 2010) outside the Android Market and it only gives a (nice) keyboard, not the pen input. I did enable the Diopen input method in Settings - Language & Keyboard.

I guess only the latest version (e.g. 1.3.1) has the pen input, but I couldn't find it outside the Android Market (and I don't have an Android phone to be able to purchase and sideload).

Perhaps others can indicate how it works for them on Ermine.
