The steps you took to move it to external storage don't have an option for selecting internal storage instead? If not, best ask Tech Support.

I don't remember how I did it now! That was several weeks ago. I've checked through the eDGe manual but I can't seem to find reference to moving storage at all!!!

I think I remember reading this was permanent, unless you do a master reset.

Am I confused? It seems to me this would be the same process for loading a book or document from an SD card into the Library, wouldn't it? Or is that not possible? Or is he talking about having moved the library completely to an SD card? But even then, to have the library completely removed from the Edge onto an SD card so that you can't get it back to the Edge seems bizarre to me.

Ok, man I'm confused. Once you figure this out, please post the solution. I'd like to know what the issue was and how to resolve it, as I see myself keeping my books on an SD card when I purchase my Edge too.

10tklz relocated the Library to the SD card, not individual books, using the following procedure: https://www.entourageedge.com/suppor...barticleid=134. Opening books from an SD card, like you're doing, isn't a problem. Seems 10tklz is having issues with books that were added to the Library later "disappearing" I think.

I just checked, though, and that procedure gives you the option of "Internal Storage" and "SD Card" for the Library, so in theory 10tklz should be able to switch it back to the internal memory, given that the Library will still fit in the more limited 2-3 GB of space.

I keep getting "this file could not be found, please try again later," as if the book just popped round to the pub for a quick vodka and bitters. I will report th entire situation to tech support then cry into my tea waiting for a reply.

Hmmm. You haven't been adding or removing files from an "esi-content" folder on the SD Card I hope... I'm assuming that if the Library is moved to the SD Card it will still be in a folder called "esi-content". I mention this because if you add/remove files directly, the Library app won't be aware of it and when you try to open a file using the Library app, it won't be able to find the file.

I moved all my stuff to SD as soon as I could do so and haven't needed to remove it except to put form converted apps onto the card. Transparent and simple. If I were to try using two cards I could foresee possible issues.

Interesting - Android 2.2 gives the ability to selectively move individual apps to the SD card with the tap of a button...

There's an alert on the title bar "Removed SD card. SD card removed. Insert a new one."

Sounds like apps and their data are still stored internally, it's only Library files (the PDFs, ePUBs, MP3's, etc.) that actually reside on the SD card.
Does this mean we can use more than one SD card? For example -- a number of smaller SD cards used as specific library categories -- ie, one for fiction and one for non-fiction?

In EE help, it says when one card is full, insert another, and each card will be recognized independent of the other. But it does say 'full'. I'm wondering if there is some odd reason that one must be full before you choose to use another.

I think the use of "full" means more if you happen to run out of space and need even more. I can't see why you couldn't keep multiple separate Libraries, of any size, on multiple SD cards...
