I still buy cookbooks (when I very rarely buy one) in paper, because I don't care to spill stuff on my Kindle. I also buy chess books in paper simply because they aren't generally available as ebooks. I haven't bought a paperback novel in ages. I think the last one was the first of John Levitt's Dog Days books, simply because it wasn't for sale in the US as an ebook.

The last paperback novel I read was Jim Butcher's Changes. I'm a big fan of The Dresden Files, but I wasn't willing to pay an inflated agency price for it, so I got it from the library and struggled through it. I much prefer ebooks.

The odd cocktail table book I still purchase now and then. I love pictures. I find them in bookstores than order from Amazon or I see them in Costco. Just like I pick up a magazine if the cover strikes my fancy.
