Spoiler:

Shamelessly and painlessly stolen from Wikipedia:

Uses
Shoe Goo provides a pliable adhesive to repair separated shoe components and can be used as a filler on worn shoe soles and as a sealer to repair waterproof fabrics and footwear. Skateboarders use Shoe Goo on their skate shoes to both protect and repair damage done by the sandpaper-like "grip tape" of the skateboard. Cricketers use Shoe Goo for minor repairs to the bat and for waterproofing the toe of the bat.
The product is also used by hobbyists in lieu of rubber cement as an assembly adhesive for radio controlled models of cars and aircraft and as a waterproofing agent for model boats.
Shoe Goo is also commonly used amongst skydivers to repair and strengthen the soles of 'booties' on relative-work jumpsuits.
The Shoe Goo product has been repackaged for other uses, with Eclectic Products making use of the alternate brand names "Sportsman's Goop," for sales as a waterproof seam-sealer, and "Shoemaker in a Tube.

Shoe Goo is a marvelous quick repair tool - you can fill in holes in the wall or furniture, stop up plumbing leaks, patch window & door caulking, glue most anything to anything else - it sticks to almost everything and dries as a flexible solid that you can carve/sand down.

Pfffftttt! Pffffttt! Hairballs! Piles of cat vomit on the carpet! Floating hair! Everywhere! I've just finished the nightly "furmination" of the 3 cats followed by a finish comb. They look fabulous. I look like someone who slept all night in a barn - full of shedding sheep! Cat hairs float in all beverages! This is the time of year I fantasize of owning a sealed ant farm!

This is the time of year I have to brush our Buddy cat at least once a day, or he ends up with huge knots that have to be cut out of his fur. He's a long haired orange, and he's beautiful except for that.

For thems what don't know about it... "Shoe-Goo" rocks!
The original company went out of business, the formula was bought up by another that put the product out in several different guises; 'Shoe-Goop,' 'Plumber's-Goop,' 'Sportsman's Goop,' and finally repackaged the original 'Shoe-Goop.' It's all the same stuff, and it's fantastic! I use it much more than duct tape!

It's perhaps the very best 'toolbox' in a tube you'll ever find. It has a solid 'grab,' holding on to just about everything except vinyl, cures flexible, and is as strong as a rubber sole! I coated the bottom (think 'crutch tip') of a rattan hiking staff I made 35 years ago, used it to walk the Long Trail, the Appalachian Trail, and most of the John Muir Trail, and that bottom is still just as solid and strong as the day I put it on.

I've glued boots, mended canvas tents, furniture, fixed car and motorcycle parts, broken toys, broken water pipes, cloth, stone, made wire insulation blocks, key fobs, and... get this... actually used it once or twice for what it was originally intended... fixing worn boot heels! When ever I need a really secure bond, it's the stuff I use!

I keep a tube of it in clear, black, and white, but find I use the clear more than any of the others. I doubt a week goes by that I don't find some use for the stuff!

Haven't I warned you about drinking from bottles that say, "Drink me"?

On an unrelated note, just now I thought I was having a flashback, but then realized I just had my glasses on crooked.

I have often considered inventing a vacuum brush that sux and brushes at the same time. As soon as it is quiet enough for a cat to not go crazy (even Mr M hates vacuum noises), It will be on the market. Wanna sign up for the prototype testing?
