I always keep tubes of super glue in every room. I get it 6 tubes for a buck at the dollar store.

Paper cut? Glue it.
Broken fingernail down to the quick? Glue it.
Crafts? Glue it.
Picture hangs crooked on the wall? Glue it.
Sneaker torn? Glue it.
Etcetera? Glue it.

i like the idea of sticking wounds together.

I used it once when i broke a fingernail halfway up the stuck on part of the nail. I was hoping it would last until the nail grew out sufficiently to cut off, but it required a restick after a week.

We keep some in the fridge so it lasts longer (maybe?)

BTW acetone did not work, but after washing with soapy stuff after the acetone, it looks like burnt skin, and I am peeling it off bit by bit, so far so good although my fingers are a little red. maybe I will wait for the bath to finish the job.

I have found that removing it is a little time consuming, I usually use some nail polish remover, soaking the stuck bits as much as possible, then a hot soapy wash, the hot water makes your skin soft and releases oils<?> making the glue come off easier. Be very careful if the affected skin is very sensitive ie. face. When the skin is very sensitive it is best to let it wear off with the skin, it usually takes a day or 2.

Also try rubbing a bit of baby oil onto the glue. That helps sometimes.

Have you tried Gorilla Glue? That stuff is seriously strong. I re-laminated the top of my boss' desk with it. The veneer was coming loose, so I followed the package instructions. That veneered desktop will be around for a century after the desk has rotted away in a landfill somewhere.

Gorilla Glue sounds extreme. If I ever use it I will remember to wear gloves!

Gorilla glue (we call it gorilla snot) is awesome stuff, I don't like the finished surface much though.

I worked as a cabinet assembler many years ago and can't remember the number of times I got myself glued to something, walked around for hours with a shelf liner (veneer) glued to my ass, much to the amusement of everyone in the shop until I realized it In the summer we would work in shorts and I have a spot on my thigh where the hair refuses to re-grow, all the contact cement exposure over the years

The worst glue I have ever had the displeasure to use was Sikaflex we used it to bond aluminum before riveting, if I never see that stuff again I'll die happy. It was used to seal the fuel tank on a homebuilt, the aluminum will fail before the bonded seam, but it is hard to work with.

Yep, that and System 3 epoxy, another glue I am not overly fond of

What kind of boat are you referring to? I built a couple of sea kayaks, one stitch and glue the other a strip plank design.

The stitch and glue kit, I only bought plans, I finished the S&G first and liked it so much I got the same boat in a strip plank, I sold the Strip plank boat only a few weeks after finishing it, I loved the way it looked but hated the way it paddled, the guy I sold it to loves it. (I stole that from the site I got the plans from )
Spoiler:

The plank boat: That is not anyone I know, again I stole that from the site I got the plans from

This was developed to be non-toxic and less irritating to skin tissue. Cyanoacrylate adhesives are sometimes known as "instant glues". The abbreviation "CA" is commonly used for industrial grades."
My surgical incision from a few weeks ago was closed with Dermabond. I was a little nervous that it would burst open and let all of my insides fall out , but it held perfectly and didn't even start to peel off at all until about 3 weeks out. Much better than staples -- it's pretty waterproof and protected from germs, and doesn't leave "railroad tracks."

My boats have always been smaller than that, but that one would have taken me far to long to build

The pics I posted were shamelessly stolen right from the web site of Chesapeake Light Craft, they sold me the plans for both boats. I would build another in a heartbeat if I had room, The one I still own is in Canada with my brother who rarely uses it, its a shame I hate when things like that sit and rot.
