thanks xD; i think they just build up. i always get a little pushed to the edge whenever i visit the news forum.

i think when i get a job that pays well, i may consider subscribing to an online news source. for now, i'm happy with our news on tv and newspapers.

The Aedes Mosquito is the usual carrier for Dengue fever, or as it is commonly referred as "breakbone fever". There are four types of Dengue fever, infection of one type will usually give you immunity to that type for life and to the others for a short period of time. As Stitchawl said, you really do wish you were dead, it feels like someone is trying to break your bones, this is I think caused by the severe dehydration brought on by the high fever.

The 2 deadly types are dengue hemorrhagic fever and dengue shock syndrome, both are considered deadly here, few people survive.

When both my wife and I had it we had temperatures as high as 104ºF (40ºC) that lasted for a few hours at a time, then the fever would break and our temps returned to normal, only to rise rapidly again. My wife had it much worse than I did and was admitted to the hospital for a 4 days, she was pumped full of saline to rehydrate her. My wife has had it twice and I hope she never contracts it again, it's very dangerous the third and forth times.

I got off lucky, and didn't need to be hospitalized, I actually didn't think it was all that bad except for the intense pain.

We caught it after our neighbours family had it, one of her kids had the hemorrhagic type and died. We weren't told anyone in their family was sick until my wife was in the hospital. Dengue is transfered from person to person by the Aedes mosquito.

The government here pushes people to drain any standing water or to clean up their areas so the mosquitos can't reproduce but it is a losing battle. We used to have our yard "Fogged" when we lived in the danger area, we have moved and hardly ever see mozzies.

i don't know. maybe this frustration comes from my being a failed writer; i've always wanted to be one but my parents told me i would starve. well, with people like those, now i can see why. i'm getting sick of human beings being cruel to each other. WHAT'S THE POINT OF LIVING IF ALL YOU WANT IS TO ONE-UP THE OTHER PERSON ALL THE TIME?

i'm also really tired of people who feel that they have to argue with you whenever you post your own opinion. i just usually post then leave. i just want to put in my worthless opinion which i'm sure the OP feels is beneath their opinion.

hmm...kind of tired of living, actually. but i'm too much of a coward to do anything about it. i hate pain :|
