Yerba maté

First time I heard the name was here when Beppe mentioned it.
Then I tried it in a tea room in Bath. The roasted variation and liked it.
One day I will try it the proper way
Accordingly to wiki it is a healthy tisane/tea? Not a tea but with caffeine.

I used to make Yerba MAte Lattes. I would use one of the stover top espresso makers to make myself three shots of Yerba Matter. Heat up and froth some milk. Add a bit of sugar or honey, the Yerba Matte, and get to drinking.

Good stuff.

I actually have a couple of Yerba Matte Gourds and the special straws used for consuming the stuff. You are suppose to fill the gourd with yerba matter, add water, and reuse the guord throughout the day. The first guord fulls are pretty bloody strong.

I'm having biological herbtea called 'good night'. Main ingredient is orange. It's supposed to help you sleep ... Just thought I'd replace my milk&honey with some that has a little less calories.

I have a question.
It is important for me.

Some teas, green, blue, white, Pu-Erh can be resteeped.
Very often they say suitable for multiple infusions. 3-4 times or till it retains flavour suitable for you.

My questions is what does the teas retain after the first infusion besides the flavour? I mean it is a known fact that all aforementioned teas have some positive health effects.
Do they tea retain any of those after the first infusion? For example the black teas have caffeine. It is gone after the first infusion.

Could you educate me please?

The caffeine is suppose to be gone within the first 30 seconds of brewing.
