yeah, it's about human experimentation in WWII, and why the perpetrators were never persecuted. it's a good but hard (emotionally for me) read anyway o:

yes, it's nonfiction. it's a historical account.
i have no doubt that several governments worked in concert to keep this as low-profile as possible. |

But you can afford it since you can copy it. Nobody is forcing the artist to making things available by selling it. So if he do not like people just copying his work he has a choice of not making it available. Everyone has a choice.

I would say that copying a book and actually read it is showing a great deal of respect for the author. You use up some of your hours that could have been used to do other things just because you trust and respect the author and his work.

Ok... first, I haven't read all 34 pages of this thread but here my humble opinion.
I think copyright laws should be valid just for the lifetime of the author and extended only for supporting his nuclear family (like wife + underage son/daughter). Yes, because everyone has the right to earn their daily bread. But beyond that... I think the people that profit from a book after the author's death are disgusting leeches and lowlifes. These people are practically earning (not even inheriting) money without having worked for it. This is not like an inheritance you have to work with, like hotel chains or a business. I think it should be enough if the inheritance is bucketloads of already earned money if the author became a millionaire with a book. In addition, some science books should be released from copyrights in some poor regions. I'm pretty sure that in countries of the third world you're not going to or even CAN get that $400 medicine book, you're thankful for even getting an education at all! Enforcing copyright laws in such environments is utterly ridiculous and imposses clear veil of ignorance onto people without resources! |

Awesome. Cats are ahead, but there should have been a choice for rabbits. Dogs are dirty and clingy, and they have big nasty tongues and like to sniff your crotch. Cats are independent, athletic (they can climb fences and trees a dog can't do that) and can sleep on your chest.
