I so want a good BT headphones for my Wave and Mp3 player, but I can't afford a good one yet, and I don't see a point in buying something I won't like.

Anyway, Shel, you are searching for a Motorola Droid (not X), if I'm correct?

Anytime! The only thing about using BT w/ the TV is that there is a delay. At first it was weird, but now I don't even notice it.

When I used to live in a condo, I couldn't wait to live in a house so I could play music or the TV as loud as I wanted at any time I wanted. Then I moved to a house by myself, and I noticed that if I was watching TV or listening to music, and if I was moving around doing laundry or other task, the sound would be either too loud, or not loud enough. That's when I first started using the Bluetooth and realised I could have sound in my ears at the perfect level, and as clear as day, all the time... even if I walked out of the room.

Now, I'm so used to it, that I will often watch TV that way even if I'm on the sofa, plus, my speakers weren't the best on the old TV, so the sound was better being transmitted straight from the RCA jacks.

That's the only way I can watch TV, without having the rest of the neighborhood hearing it.
I need to have the volume LOUD. When my wife and I watch together, we'll have the speaker volume on 2 so she can hear it, and my headphone volume on 9 so I can hear it without disturbing her... or people on the next block.

- though I can't change the volume on my headphones...Even my wife, now, prefers watching TV with subtitles ON (except live broadcasts).

I have a neighbor like you. When he came he used to watch his favorite show on the TV that sits exactly one wall apart from my bed. I used to work at night, so his quiz show from 10 to 12 o'clock on the weekends was the last thing I needed (I came home around 7 am). He also didn't hear the door bell (wonder why).

One day I had enough. I waited until the late afternoon and ringed on the door. Unfortunately for him his wife and daughter (visiting) answered the door. His wife explained me, that he normally has his own tv with headphones, but apparently he waits until she goes to work and uses the living room tv.
Anyway, in the next hour all you could hear from their apartment was the voice of his wife, occasionally of his daughter. I actually felt a bit bad about him.
BUT, I never had problems after that And the neighbors are actually nice, and getting nicer with their German progressing.

Ahh youth, I remember when I could hear the TV set on 2, or the doorbell. The joys of working the night shift all the time and wearing ear plugs to bed and being almost deaf, I actually slept through a fire alarm in my apartment, I only woke up when a firemen shook me in my bed.

Droid X sounds great I searched a bit, but there really isn't much available. Perhaps asking in a store to try some of the stuff they have and see what works.
