Double . I understand why geographical restrictions exist, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. And I also think there should be an international copyright law all nations would have to abide by. One that's far less draconian than U.S. copyright law.

The irony is the key element; any demise must fit the character flaws in order to be properly fitting.

The most common example is technology, where good engineers get promoted to supervisors and things rapidly degrade. Engineers are good at dealing with rational problems and things that behave in predictable ways. Managers have to deal with human beings, who are often neither.

It could be worse, you at least speak the language and they will keep escalating it up to someone who can handle it. I was told point blank that "It isn't possible to transfer money to Canada" I went across the hall to a Canadian band (Scotia Bank) and in 30 minutes I had a new account, transfered all my money from the other bank (Maybank) and the money was transfered, all this and they got me coffee.

actually, i think the final will be better because we'll be required to do financial statements. i'm *good* at those. we didn't have them in the midterm because our prof said she was tired of checking them xD; i *suck* at problem solving. plus she kept saying, "10 mins. left" like it was a lifeline @_@

@mortis: lol! speaking of medical exam, i did have a blood test last week to check my cholesterol/uric acid levels.

And they don't make a wired headset for any cellphone besides an iPhone that music controls as well as mic control for calls works on WHY, again??

All I want is a hands-free wired headset that has extra controls for music on it - so I can skip songs or change volume without pulling my phone out of my pocket or the pouch I have for it. I'm not even asking for Bluetooth! As far as I can find out, Bose makes a set, but they work ONLY for iPhone, and Blackberry has a set but they ONLY work with the BlackBerry O/S plus they're the in-the-ear-canal type that really hurt my ears. I found a very few more, but they all ONLY work with iPhone.
If any of y'all know different, I'd sure appreciate a heads up!

I finally gave up on trying to find a wired one to do what I want, and bought a reasonably priced refurbed set of bluetooth headphones for about 60% less than new would cost me. It was the same price as a new wired set from El Cheapo Chinese Manufacturer, did everything I wanted it to (and more, which was a pleasant surprise) and had the same warranty as a new set. Also, refurbs are environmentally friendly- you're not producing anything new, and you're not chucking out something that can be repaired.

I'll tell ya, you get a good wireless set and you'll never ask for wired again.

I got Sony DT-BR22 headphones, and they not only work with my LG phone, but with my bf's phone, my PC, and my iPod Classic (with bluetooth dongle). Best part- dual-device pairing. I discovered rather by accident that I can pair it with my iPod for music, and pair it with my phone for talking at the same time. It'll automatically switch from the music to the call and back again without a hitch. Good battery life, too- I highly recommend them if you can lay your mitts on a pair for cheap.

So you're telling me they make Bluetooth headphones that will do this for any phone, but not wired ones.... weird (not you, the manufacturers). I looked up the Sony set you mentioned (and thank you kindly, by the way!). I'll see if I might can find a refurbed set, new ones are still pretty expensive. Thanks for the tip!

I've been using several Bluetooth headsets for years. One is the Jabra BT320s. I've been using it mostly to watch TV while I workout. I didn't like to blast the TV over the sound of the StairMonster and really didn't want to hear the sound of the StairMonster anyway, so I use sound isolating ear buds. I block out the sound of the machine, and hear the TV, or music that's on my phone, perfectly.

I bought a second one, Motorola s705, because I would forget to charge the other one and wanted a back up so I didn't have to wait. They both paired up with all of my cell phones, I think the Moto can pair with up to 8 devices, I can't recall how many w/ the Jabra. The Jabra is also rain/water resistant.

The sound isolating earbuds that I use are Sony MDR-EX71SL. They have the J-shaped cord that goes around your neck, and when you pull them out they'll just rest on your shoulders, plus they have a short lead, so I can clip it onto my collar, but I also have a long extension lead for a normal length cord.

For TV use, I use the Sony HWS-BTA2W transmitter/receiver. I only use it as a transmitter. I have one for when I'm in the kitchen, running water, and clinking dishes and I have one in the living room where I have my StairMaster.

One of the things I like about this kind is that I can change out my earphones. So if one set breaks, I don't have to replace the whole bluetooth.

Needless to say, my wireless headsets get plenty of use!
