You are one lucky lady to have such a good husband. When my wife showed me a picture and said she wanted it, the next day I bought a small frame, printed out the picture and framed it, put it in a box and wrapped it nicely with a bow, and gave it to her. I still don't understand why she was upset. We men try so hard...

You did not!! At least I hope you didn't. If you did, you're lucky she let you live.

But you're right, I am one lucky lady with Chris. He is very supportive of any and all of my hobbies; books, crochet, now tea. About all he ever says is, "Hey, at least it's less expensive than MY hobby!" (His hobbies are computers and music...as in playing it, which requires instruments, which get expensive FAST).

In my cup: nothing.
Am typing away on my iPad at 0.53, but ought to go to sleep as I have to go shopping at Ikea tomorrow. But first some reading on my Kindle: always three books- some spirituality to end the day, literature(elephant from Saramago) and fantasy ( Donaldson). Goodnight and sweet dreams all.
Ha, that was my plan as well ! I was actually going to go on a shopping spree today.

But I woke up with a pounding head, feeling completely nauseated and a light fever. So I'm gonna drink some mint tea, lie down on the couch with my blankee and watch Lost.

Haven't they been found yet? I stopped watching when they discovered the underground bunker, but that was years ago!

Supporting each other's likes and dislikes is a large part of a good relationship. It's not necessary for us to like the same things; we just have to accept that our significant others do for what ever reason. Often that isn't so easy.

Thanks! I hope these are not the first signs of the flu, I have to much to do at work and no-one to take over so I can't afford to get sick. On my second cup of mint tea with homemade honey, courtesy of my dad's bees.

They've been found, then they went back ... There are 6 season's and I stopped watching in the middle of season 3. I decided to start watching again, I really want to see how it ends. Ended season 1 last week and I'm now halfway through season 2.

The Teavana Teamaker is nifty - worked perfectly! I also ordered some of those disposable tea bags Betty posted - so I could carry tea with me ready to brew!

That's what I suspect and refrain from any rooibos with flavourings. It just doesn't feel natural, when the idea of drinking tea is drinking a natural drink (for me).

I love the looks of that cup. I wonder if I need one of those too? No, I've already bought myself special glass mugs for both coffee AND tea. I love seeing my tea while I'm drinking it, it turns out. It's just part of the experience. I'm really glad you're ordering it! I hope it arrives quickly!

Uh oh. Maybe if you lie low you can ward off anything bad -- I hope so. As much as I enjoy Ikea, I don't think it's your best choice for today! Hope you feel better...

I see both Sony and Kobo have it for about the same price yet they want about $13.50 for the elephant book alone.

I just bought the complete works of Sramago for something like $20. Totally worth it. I have read Blindness many times. It is a masterpiece.

Alright.

Green tea trip has come to its logical end.
I have tried the last two samples of green tea from "other origin"
Ceylon Oliphant
Assam Khongea
Both teas are similar to what I label as standard Chinese green tea.
Then I brewed a cup of Genmaicha. The last green tea, because I tried it before and left it to the end. I liked it more than before. Probably because I brewed it better this time. I am better at doing it per cup instead of per pot. Although, I don't think I love the tea after I tried some others...

Now I have enough samples of green tea to last me for...2 months probably
I might venture to the land of oolong and white though.

My tea cabinet looks funny now, I took a few pics and will upload them a bit later along with tea shop in Prague.
