In my cup: nothing. Am typing away on my iPad at 0.53, but ought to go to sleep as I have to go shopping at Ikea tomorrow. But first some reading on my Kindle: always three books- some spirituality to end the day, literature(elephant from Saramago) and fantasy ( Donaldson). Goodnight and sweet dreams all. ![]() |

Edit: Oops! Looks as if I missed some later posts. Glad to hear you like your toys! I'm almost tempted to try that chocolate mint tea. Stitchawl Last edited by Stitchawl; 01-07-2011 at 07:55 PM. |

And Pooh, it'll be a great weekend to stay inside with a hot cup of tea!
My new tea (I know it's not a true tea!) came today, too -- Davidson's Organic Spiced Rooibos Chai. I wanted something to drink in the evenings without caffeine, and I liked the couple of rooibos flavors I've had before. This makes a beautiful red cup of tea, but it actually tastes kind of sweet. ??? Nothing I have found in researching it indicates that they have included any sweetener in the mix, and I know rooibos is slightly sweet anyway, so I guess that's what it is. I emailed Davidson's just now to ask them, but I don't think they'll be back until Monday. No big deal, but it just has me curious. I don't sweeten any hot drinks, so it took my mouth by surprise. |

If it says natural flavoring it likely has sugar in it. At least, that is what a friend of mine said who cannot have sugar and will nto order teas that say natural flavorings.

I'm curious to see what they say -- I've asked for a complete list of ingredients. I don't know why it matters to me, but it just seems like I taste sugar in it.

I'm pretty sure because of all the disclosure laws about food that they MUST label for sugar especially because of diabetics

Since I'm doing cups, and not pots of tea, I am drooling over this:
http://www.adagio.com/teaware/jumbo_...2cae41085df352 Still can't decide on what teas - I get in the site and just go nuts, want everything! |

Mid afternoon... Beautiful Saturday but we'll stay indoors, water the garden, and get some chores done. I need to sew some rubber suspender buttons onto my Christmas present; a new pair of armored winter riding overpants. They are extra large and wont stay up without the suspenders. (By the way, this is the 'American' usage of 'suspenders,' not the British usage.

Oooohhhh!! I showed Chris the infuser cup, and he asked if that's what I wanted for an anniversary gift. I said yes, and he said, "Order it!" So I did, along with a bunch of samples. Here goes my tea adventure!
