I mentioned it would be really unusual to have snow on Christmas here, but I didn't realize quite how rare it was. This just published on the local news station website:

Now believe me, I do NOT remember either of those dates!

Hmmmm.....the overcast, rain, snow is not happening, in fact it is a nicer day than yesterday so I'm headed out for a longish walk....odd are a blizzard will suddenly appear....if you don't hear from me in an hour send out the search and rescue.

Winter Weather Advisory from now til midnight tomorrow night. Another 3 -5 inches of snow expected. Glad we don't have to go anywhere til Monday!!

It starts to look as if the rest of the country will have a white christmas, while we will be virtually snowless...
