Probably not. At least, not when the cat is outside. He just adores snow and will try to cuddle it

That's what I miss since I moved. I can't go by bike anymore. The train station is just a bit too far away and add the train ride and finally the bus ride or even walk, and you'll find out that the car is at least twice as fast...

They're predicting accumulating snow for us on Christmas Day. A White Christmas? Only once or twice in my whole life have we ever had any snow at all on Christmas here, and then it was either just flurries or maybe a trace. Could be interesting!

The definition of a white christmas here is weird... There needs to be a white cover during the two days in a certain location in the country (the headquarters of the Royal Dutch Meteorological Institute). If there's no snow there: no official white christmas!

But if it keeps going on like this, I'll have had about 10 minutes of snow pleasure. Still no new snow, and from the looks of it, it's thawing like crazy...

The "official" weather station here in Denver is at Denver International Airport which is out on the eastern plains and isolated from the city. Makes for some strange "official" records sometimes.

Like Betty said, we're predicted to have a white Xmas in the Carolinas this year. The storm system that has been battering California is moving in - and going to hit a low pressure system off the coast. So we could have anything from rain to flurries to snow to a full-blown nor-easter!
[going to stock up on groceries tomorrow] [and charge all the ereaders]
