I'm from Red Deer, the home of Francis the Legendary Pig,

and part of the great Province of Alberta.

In truth Red Deer is a thriving city of 100,000 people, and the moose is a Calgarian.

Checking Canada's population statistics, we have the following so far

Alberta 6 in 3.70 million: 1.62/million
British Columbia 7 in 4.48 million: 1.56/million
New Brunswick 1 in 0.75 million: 1.33/million
Ontario 24 in 13.1 million: 1.83/million
Quebec 3 in 7.86 million: 0.38/million

Hmm... Why aren't the people in Quebec on Mobileread? We'd expect to have 12 and we only have 3!

I would guess that many of the people in Quebec are probably on French language boards.

Also a lack of ebooks available in French probably means less interest in electronic reading devices, or "mobile reading".

Hey, there is only 1 of us from Winterpeg aka Winnipeg? The lone Manitoban so far (unlike Saskatchewan we can read here (-; well, at least 1 of us anyways.

I live just north of Peterborough Ontario, about 1.5-2 hrs north of Toronto.

I have never heard of Canadians referring to themselves as North Americans either.
