Very much so. You obviously recall how I've used very nearly the same words as lene in the past to describe my preference for graveyard shift. Politics. Bah!

A week ago, I began working the "swing" shift. I was nominated for it by virtue of the fact that they needed a second person and I was the only one who said, "I'll do it if no one else will." I still work graveyard on Thursday and Friday (8 hours each), but also Saturday & Sunday 7pm to 7:30am (1/2 hour each night for lunch).

Furthermore, we're just kidding ourselves. If you want to go to work earlier, it should be a matter for bosses to allow a timeshift in opening hours instead - not 'changing the clock'!

Well, I'm thankful for this thread. I wasn't sure when we were changing back the clocks; thought that I missed it this past weekend - had to get up very early a few days this week and it was dark as pitch. Doesn't take much to confuse me that early in the morning.
