			And in honor of the holiday, I also often worked " graveyard shift".  I didn't like that as much. Sunlight in your eyes when driving home, and such.

			However you twist it, daylight just isn't long enough to last an entire working day.  Might as well get at least some daylight in the morning...

			When you live as far north as Britain, there would really be no point in year-round DST; in winter the days are so short (about 7-8h of daylight) that, no matter how you arrange things, it's going to be dark in the mornings and the evenings.
