Did you notice how crinkled/lined/creased the display was? I know a few companies have been working on flexible eink displays like that but don't think I've seen any make it out to the market. Last edited by kennyc; 10-27-2010 at 03:14 PM. |

When flexible displays get nailed down, it'll revolutionize so many things. Knowing that kids are prone to break things, non-breakable displays will allow ereaders into the classroom. Picture a tiny computer in your pocket with a wireless, fold up display using voice commands. Lots of potential. |

Apple was suppose to release 7 and 8" versions of their iPAD. I guess they won't now. 7" is okay and easy to carry. 10.2" or higher would be more ideal for corporate meeting. If they can get 7" 800x600 @ 16:9 size would be more ideal but I guess the cost would factor in. Right now the 7" 800x480 kinda cuts off part of the viewing angle.
