10" is no good for me.
I am tired of my netbook 10.1". It is so small... If I were to buy a new netbook/smallish laptop it would be Vostro v13 13.3"!!! 10h! battery life and only 1.6kg! |

The bottom of the page has an interesting link explaining some of the design decisions. It is also supposed to have a list of a bit over $300.00. |

The video of MSFT's much smaller device showed some of what could be done with such a two page format. Anything larger that 7 inches must support two or more columns automatically for reading. (it makes reading more faster and English more gooder.) |

With respect to Dell adomo, I've never heard of it - which is my point. There are Apple products I don't care about. Apple TV for instance, because all TV is good for, IMHO, is baseball and opera. And Dr. Who. Basically, Apple is the Yankees. Apple sets the standard. Last edited by Harmon; 10-22-2010 at 12:23 AM. |

I received the phone i just put the sim card inside, start it, and voila. With the iPhone, it would have been install iTunes, activate so apple give you the authorization to use YOUR phone.. The simple fact of "don't need iTunes" make android way better the iOS to me. And that without adding the other thing i can do with android (use my phone as modem, use mp3 as ringtone) out of the box, that the iPhone requires you to mess around for such basic things , as well as putting music or video on your phone. Just so much easier the android way. As to windows, it seam to work out fine for lots of people. Last edited by EowynCarter; 10-22-2010 at 04:43 AM. |

Sounds like a good size to me. It would fit in my purse and I could replace my first gen iPod touch and have an even bigger screen for movies and color comics and stuff.

It's not the size that matters. It's what you do with it.
Had to be said. |

I think Apple made a mistake in the new 11" Air. Battery life needs to be greater than the 13", not less. Larger laptops are more likely to used near power than smaller ones. So they need greater battery life. At least that is how I approach where I use my netbook.
The 11" Air does throw a small wrench into the iPad decision, given its nearly-instant-on with 30-day standby and considerably more horsepower. Still not a tablet though. |

Doesn't ship with it:-
http://www.engadget.com/2010/10/20/m...ance-no-flash/ The 'netbook/notebook/laptop' line has been blurred a lot - is it screen size, price or specification that's the determining factor?? An 11" Air can be a netbook if you want it to be, I guess, but I'd expect it to soon be the entry level MacBook; that lone, shiny white Macbook at the bottom of the range has it's days numbered, I'd say. Cheers, Pete |
