I'm really really really really frustrated

After hearing about the great clearance prices on 300s around the country, I have been regularly checking at our own Target where it was marked down to..... (wait for it) $141 (from $179).

Today, after not checking for a few weeks, I went and looked. They are gone. Apparently I missed them clearanced at $40 (and one lady apparently snapped up 4 of them) and they are out.

aaarrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! Target is way out of my way, I rarely go except I've been going to check on the prices and try to get a clearanced one. I wanted to get my 10yo one for Christmas and one for me.

*sigh* I didn't *need* it. I'm just really frustrated that I missed out, and for such a great price too!

grrrrrrrr.... dog in heat wants to go out and sing at the sky with the coyotes. I've taken her out twice since 9:30 (currently 12:45). she will do the token pee but then wants to go courting. this is the most frustrating heat she has had. she fusses around, sits up, lies down, up, down, paces, circles, comes and pants in my face, does long drawn out histrionic high pitched yawns. if she pulls this again tomorrow she is sleeping in the bathroom

One of my many personal peeves is list-making. I can't get that some people (1) actually take the time to make a list of "the 1001 things you must do before you die" (2) apparently manage to convince others not only that there is indeed a finite and definitive number of things you must do before you die, but that THEIR list is better than any list of things picked at random.

When I die, what difference will it make whether or not I have read this book or that, seen this sight or not? It won't matter to me, and it won't matter to those who will (hopefully) remember me. What's the use of getting all stressed out over what I haven't done? I'll never do everything that there is to do anyway (and I'll do a great many things that I'd rather not have done, but I guess that's a different story altogether). Much better to concentrate on doing what I do right, and to enjoy myself while doing it. I am NOT walking through life checking things on a to-do list.

So there.
