Do PW and PW2 take the same cases?

Sorry if this is a FAQ...

DW's K3 developed screen problems, so we are taking advantage of Amaon's offer of a discounted refurb PW (Wifi and 3G, no special offers) for $127).

I'm looking at cases, specifically fitted ones similar to the official Amazon one, but most of the ads seem "fuzzy" about which PW version it is for. Am I correct in what I've heard that cases are interchhangable between the PW and PW2?

Yes, the case fits both models perfectly.

Indeed, I put my Amazon PW1 case on my PW2, and it is a perfect fit.

They really hit a home run with that case. It is awesome. They made the same case for the 2012 Fire HD. That's the best reason to stick with that Fire and not upgrade.

Well, one of the best reasons.

I still have my PW case. Maybe I should....nah. As good as the PW1 was (after hacking), my Kobo is better (no hacking needed).
