Mh. This does not seems to me a good design. nickel should respond to sickel but you should anyway be unable to interact with it for other reasons. IMHO the best solution is to add a way to do an hardware reboot instead (for example, pressing the pin hole for a little time).

That's more than 1800 books to check...

Anyway Everything was fine until this morning when I added a few books and now it's stuck in a loop of Processing new files... -> reboot -> Processing new files... -> reboot -> Processing new files... -> reboot -> ...

At least this narrows the list of books to a handful.
For the record and me to take notes before I remove them here are the new files:

Hi guys (and girls too !),

Everybody seems to be ok to say that the FW 3.17.0 is a great version (big thanks to developers for this nice work !) : stable, fast and without ghosting !

But are there new functions ?

My Glo crash and has a factory reset... connected to kobo desktop i have 3.15. probably kobo desktop not updated.
With Aura HD no problem.

My H2O sometimes freezes with this FW. power off then on fiwes the issue but it occured 3 or 4 times since 3.17 is installed.

Cycojesus, while it's not the 1800 files you have, I threw some 400 at my H2O yesterday, no issues. I don't think it's the number of files it has to process.

According to David over in the 3.17.0 discussion thread this update should resolve issues with PDFs and rebooting.

I'm kind of keeping my fingers crossed it also resolves the power off / losing your place issue though I can't really remember when I last powered down my H2O aside from last night to see if it would resolve an issue unrelated to firmware.
