Great name and interesting about the circumcised flute player with grazed knees. I wonder if anyone in MR is from Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateahaumaitawhitiu rehaeaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitan atahu (haven't seen it in any profiles).

When we first heard the name, I thought it was a joke. But then I realized if a town could have a name like "Truth or Consequences" Surprise wasn't all that bad! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truth_o...es,_New_Mexico edit:...............this wouldn't be our "Ralph Edwards" Would it?

Wisconsin is Wisconsin's Siberia. For those who, up to this point, really never cared to know where America keeps its leftover chili and that little lump of ice crystals that may, at one time, have been something digestible, but is now on its way to being something that future archeologists will ponder over, The IceBox, aka Wisconsin, is right under the really big blue thing in the center of the map of North America. (At the top in maps drawn for our littluns, can't be confusing them with actual geography, now.) If you squint just right, it looks like the back of a left handed mitten. We have duck tours in the summer months. |

I always make a point of spelling out Michigan, because I think it looks nicer than "MI", but now I'm wondering if I should be including "USA", as well. That isn't a big thing, I can do that. Thanks for pointing it out! A little extra clarity doesn't hurt, if there is space for it. |

Well, I'm from Vanouver BC. I should have updated it to Vancouver AD a while back, but I'm lazy. Better yet, let's take time out of the equation and settle on Vancouver, Canada. |

Whenever I want to know about a place name I look it up. A number of European members have an obscure county, district, or village as their location. Wikipedia usually gives the best answer.
