It does not remember the order. I'll see if I can change that.

It's not working here either. I'm pretty sure this worked before (that's why I stated that it works on windows 11, when I was away from my computer). Maybe something changed in calibre or Qt. I'll investigate it.

I found the problem. It was my mistake. When I released version 1.7.2, I had to subclass calibre's Dialog, and I forgot to implement the 'save_geometry' method. I'll release the fix in a few moments.

I guess old users didn't notice because it still remembered the last geometry. So, the problem only occurs when you try to resize the dialog.

Hello,

I'm trying to use this plugin for the first time. I was able to get the plugin configured, but then after refreshing my data in the goodreads plugin (fixed some dates and refreshed my shelves), then updating the progress on a book I started I can't run the Reading Goal.

I've checked all my settings, uninstalled and reinstalled without success. Any ideas on what I can try next?

Check out your reading dates, you must have an invalid entry (anything before 1970).

Thanks for the reply. It doesn't look like the date is a problem. The oldest date value I have is 2003. It looks like the problem is coming from the Auto Add function.

I thought this function would automatically add all the books on that shelf with TBR as the value, but when I add TBR it throws the error. If I add tbr it don't, but still doesn't add the books.

I'm sorry, but I'll have to insist. The error points the line 1287:

date = date.astimezone()

When you have an invalid date, the astimezone() method fails with 'OSError:[Errno 22] Invalid argument'. The date referred here is the one coming from your '#goodreads_date_read' custom column, not the calibre standard 'Date' column.

The invalid date is present in one (or more) of your TBR books. Please check again.

Thank you, It looks like something was hidden. I reset all the dates on my TBR books as undefined and the error is resolved.

I decided to add a new graphic for the statistics dialog: daily read pages. To view it, just click on the month name. The combobox will change to 'By day'. To get back, choose 'By month'.

I would like to get some input about this. The idea came from a graphic I saw on Storygraph.

It doesn't add any new information to the database, so no performance issue.

P.S.: This graphic uses Google Charts, so you need an internet connection for it to work.
