			Thanks NiLuJe! You are awesome! On another note my friend just bought a Kindle Wifi (B008, not the Special Offers & Sponsored Screensavers version) and it has firmware 3.2 on it. Is there a jailbreak out yet that can be done to 3.2 FW? I noticed above that you said it was only the Special Offers version that had 3.2. His kindle is wifi version and has FW 3.2 listed. Thanks! |

			@twister: Well, since it's not available for download, I can't be sure about that, but the jailbreak *seems* to work fine on 3.2. The screensavers hack may or may not work, though (It doesn't on the KSO, for obvious reasons ^^).

			Guys, sorry for the question which I believe already is in all possible FAQs, but. Is there any hack or preference to tell my Kindle which exactly sizes of fonts I want to choose from? I mean, I don't need these giant letters, neither 3-pixels one. I like the size which is 3rd from left, but I want to play a bit with this size, choosing with Aa button, lets say, +-1-2 pixels. So, if I like 21px font, I want to choose from 20, 21, 22 and 23 from menu. Is it possible? |

			@hwat: Might be doable by tweaking the reader.pref config file in system/, but, if it works, entering the [Aa] menu and/or switching font sizes within the [aA] menu will most probably throw away these customizations.

			Well, this is obvious. My point was to find a solution to avoid, you know, restarting after each resizing and watch changes in realtime. Maybe you guys hackers can write such hack? I believe it would be very popular because most of the font sizes are pretty useless now.

			I just found this forum and saw what NiLuJe and your friends has done for kindle lovers. thanks. I have not yet hacked my kindle for another language, and i think i will after reading those positive feedbacks. some questions, need NiLuJe's help to clarify: 1) will the hacked version in any way conflict with official version? does the hack change/replace the font of official version when installing? 2) after i install latest hack, theoretically i can leave it there for ever, even when i can update official version? will the official updating change the font of the hacked version? thanks in advance for your response Last edited by morrislee; 05-09-2011 at 10:57 AM. |

			Hi All, I have some ebook which are in our language (unicode format), I want to read them on my K3 (jailbreaked and run fonts pack). I can see linkfonts/fonts folder so I copy unicode font(.ttf) file from my PC and paste into my K3 linkfonts/fonts folder. Although full restart my K3 still can't read my book (I can see square block). So please advice me how to change local unicode font for K3. Do I need to rename that unicode font file? if so which name I need to change. Thanks in Advance. Last edited by mrExtreme; 05-10-2011 at 03:40 AM. |

			I just found this site through the Calibre site and WOW! So much time and smarts here. Very happy I found you all I've been trying to install jailbreak for the past hour. I'm not doing something right. My steps so far - downloaded the file, extracted, copied the k2 install to my kindle. went to update kindle and it is grayed out. Yep doing something wrong. If there is a place to find possible fixes without reading posts til my eyes fall out? |

			Hi! "This hack, based on ebs' code, restores `usbNetwork functionality." I understand just a half of what it means.. And sincerly i am afraid that it may void my warranty, eat my kindle, kill a kitten, and sell my first born's soul to the devil. But if i supose tu risk that i think that amazon will discover as a result of huge trafic with my kindle on pc? Or i am afraid for nothing ? Last edited by kinkle; 05-10-2011 at 07:22 PM. |

			@PentwaterGma: Wrong .bin for your Kindle model, check your Kindle's S/N again. @SunLight: Good to know, thanks! Does the SS hack behave correctly on a non-KSO device running FW 3.2? |

			@SunLight: I meant a 'classic' Kindle, not a 'Special Offers' one   . |
