In your opinion is possible to modify this program adding a button "load Android OS"? I'd imagine the button press calls some command, right?

When it does do you see any response from your PC?
An error message? Is your device appearing in windows device manager? Luck; Ken Last edited by Ken Maltby; 07-06-2014 at 04:11 PM. |

That means that the module is successfully loaded. Therefore, the problem is possibly on the pc. You can try open the device manager on the pc and look at the information about USB-Controller. If the device is plugged in and you select usb enable.sh or usb disable.sh on the Kobo, there should something change in the list of usb-controllers. Have a look there, maybe you can find some hint what is happening.
I just presupposed that you are a windows user. On linux it should be similar, I guess. Last edited by tshering; 07-06-2014 at 04:47 PM. |

Adding an item to the list and associate it with a command (script file) is no problem. That is actually the main idea of the start menu. But I have no idea which command is needed. I have not the slightest idea about loading Android.

Question one and two have the same purport. Right? The usb storage module is not loaded at device start because I like loading things when they are needed, and this module is also not loaded on device start when you run the original software.

Tried, normal Kobo firmware restarts.
Now I regret to have taken Aura HD as it is so rare and unsupported only for the "HD" screen ![]() |

I have not disabled anything in nickel.
Maybe it would be helpful to know which FW and which version of the start menu you installed. Anyway, since you did a factory reset, everything should be ok. Last edited by tshering; 07-06-2014 at 05:53 PM. |
